So Whats been happening then I hear you ask?!?!?!

Well, where to start...the beginning, as always.

ChartU has taken the back burner for some time now and its about time I updated ya with what is going to happen.

Myself (skuff) moved jobs and being as lame as I can be (yes, I know, I really know) have not put anything into the boiling pot for sometime.

This is all about to change. I have decided - after much deliberation to start again and indeed have already started re-developing ChartU, ready for a new launch.

Unfortunately my partner in crime will not be working with me this time so I am going it alone, although should any you reading this want to be part of the re-development please contact me by replying to this post.

So if you are genuinely interested and have the experience below:

- ASP.NET (preferably 2.0)
- Ajax.Net (although not essential)
- XHTML
- CSS
- MS SQL 2005 (or similar)

Please get in touch and we can discuss.

This isn't a job opportunity as such, as you won't be paid, but hopefully you can see the potential of the website and would be willing to invest time to work in partnership with myself and see wher this adventure goes.

So what am you supposed to do in the mean time?
Well, I am going to try and use all existing data and migrate into the new database design. Expect to see a full beta release v.1.0.1 shortly.

We are still here!

Hi everyone, although progress on the site appears to have stopped, we are still slowly working away in the background, we intend to resume full speed shortly and get the new features of the site launched soon, trust us it'll be worth the wait.

Thanks to all the artists who have uploaded their tracks so far, and thanks to all the bloggers and sites that have reviewed and mentioned us.

The word has got around- accidentally!!

Well, we released the beta version (the very early beta version) on the web and to a small community of local musicians an hey presto, the world is now using ChartU Beta!!!

Im amazed - it literally took a day of releasing it on the "museum of modern betas" and we got on Digg.com - Digg!!! im happy - although not with the state of ChartU at the moment.

We will however start tidying the site and adding the finishing touches next week, i promise you, i shall be working late and getting it done.

so - erm, sorry for the lack of complete areas so far people - soon, promise.

The songs on here are mostly demo stuff and voting should work etc...

And now for something completely different

once out of beta mode should we allow bands to put music videos of themselves on the site?
